perfect.. found my wife's earing in inch long grass.. as for those complainers check ur phone specs, HTC desire hd sensor is at the back bottom right side.. Top app saved me $200 worth of jewelry..

It really does work (: You have to make sure you have your phone face the right way. The back of my phone is the metal detector side

The science Your phone does detect ferrous metals with a very weak magnetometer. the range is small enough that you will see the metal you are detecting. More useful for coin fraud identification. Useless for finding things.

Works ok It's fun but not extremely sensitive, so it isn't useful for much more than showing off.
