Couldn't place the widget In Android 4.1, you need to long press a widget in the app drawer to place it. If you long press this widget, a menu pops up to ask what type of widget you want, but when you let go of your screen to choose an entry from the popup menu, the menu disappears, and you're still in your app drawer...
