OCT 2024 - Does not back up or restore successfully. Still install because can freeze/thaw and list apps by last update timestamp. Honorary five stars because of the role this app played in the early days of Android.

Titanium Backup no longer works on android 13 and newer. Cannot restore apps that use multiple apk's, it will just hang. And any app where their data is restored, will crash as soon as you try opening it. Instead, do the following: 1) install the apk using another way 2) restore the app's data but do not open the app 3) install an app called neo backup and then back up the app using it 4) restore the backup you just made in it. Backup/Restore of calls/sms/mms works.

It used to be required; now it should be retired. Titanium Backup no longer works on the newest Android version on a Pixel 8 Pro.

This app used to be great, but it hasn't been updated in years. Apps no longer reliably restore on modern versions of Android. I'm looking for a new backup solution that works.
