HOW TO USE

A video is worth 10,000 words so check it out to see how Keymonk works.

COMPATIBILITY

Keymonk was tested on Galaxy S2 and should work with any compliant text editor on any smartphone with good multi-touch support.

MULTITOUCH ISSUES

Some devices, including high-end devices, have defective multi-touch support. If you see the Keymonk touch indication circles flicker or change colors while sweeping with both fingers, that may be an indication that your device does not support multi-touch well.

Keep each finger at its side of the keyboard and avoid bumping them into one another since it might confuse the touch screen.

EDITOR COMPATIBILITY

Keymonk might not work with particular text editors that are not compliant with the Android API. If you experience problems please send an email to feedback@keymonk.com.

Comments on Keymonk Keyboard Free for Android

★★★★★ Permissions: none! Would give five star if (1) every non english word would not be underlined by red, even when properly selecting French language. (2) the sweep from the dot is difficult to learn: it would be logical if sweep up meant "!", sweep down left meant ",", sweep up right meant "'", sweep up left meant "?", sweep right meant "-". (3) when left with many unwanted suggestions, there should be a one key press to clear suggestions (4) i need a key combination to switch to normal android keyboard.

★★★★★ Better alternatives Good keyboard if you can't use nintype. prediction is a bit poor in comparison. still solid two hand swiping though

★★★★★ Best keyboard ever. I've been using this keyboard for almost two years I think. I'm now stuck. I can't go back to not using two thumbs to swipe. I've tried. I'm addicted. This keyboard makes absolute sense to me. My wife doesn't understand it at all. Any one watching me type on it looks at me like I'm crazy. Great job! please don't ever let this project die! A nice addition would be in place of the info button, you could put a modifier that would bring up a directional/home/end keys while pressed. :D

★★★★★ Fastest keyboard ever. Used to be. I love this keyboard to bits. It's amazing how much quicker you can type with two finger simultaneously. Would really wish the devs would revive this project.

★★☆☆☆ MessagEase keyboard is much better This app is abandonned by its dev. I'm using MessagEase, which is revolutionary, much faster, and a lot easier to use!

★★☆☆☆ No way No way in hell this is better than Swype....I assume after you practice for hours on end it might be cool, but Swype requires no practice. If you can spell, you can Swype. This garbage requires you to first decide where the hell to put your fingers. First letter, second letter and then sweep to WTF. I see the selling point is faster...hmmmm. Faster isn't better. Nothing beats the original. Swype is king for a reason. This app is garbage.

★★☆☆☆ Good idea applied poorly. Last update four years ago. Suggestions pale compared to swift or minuum, even to swype; It requires too much accuracy. delete should remove the last word, not character. no settings, let alone customizations. auto spacing needs work.

★★☆☆☆ Can't upgrade to full version I used to have the upgraded "full version" on my old phone, but when I tried to install it on a warranty replacement of the exact same model of phone, it can't find the full version on the PlayStore. I emailed the company, but have gotten no response. Without the full version, I can't do basic modifications of the settings. This sucks.
