Tasker does what this app does and more. Didn't notice much of an improvement.

I didn't see any battery life improvement. It may have even been worse. There's nothing you can do with this app that you can do with the pre installed Android widgets.

Turned off my cell radio and data connection so that I couldn't even make phone calls. Disabled the app, eventually uninstalled it, still couldn't get back online. This app bricked my brand new Droid 2! Called Verizon for help and they told me to reset the phone. Great idea for an app but couldn't have had a more undesired effect short of flames. Install with care!

Does great on my droid x w/ext batt. My battery life has never been longer, as long as you can live with data on/off every 15 minutes or so.
