Comments on NewsRob (Google Reader / RSS) for Android

★★★★★ Best reader I've found Interface is simple but not clunky or ugly. You can display the webpage within Newsrob when the RSS version is just a summary of the article, rather than having to fire up a browser. Very quick to load content. Great app, all in all.

★★★★★ The future? Mr Kamp, If you are reading this, please inform us on the future of NewsRob when google reader is no more. Really think that NewsRob is the best. And really hope to stay with it even without Google Reader

★★★★★ Thanks This is the first app I used for Google reader and I've used it for many years.

★★☆☆☆ Full article download not just headers or summary Anyone know how to get news rob to download full articles for offline reading. When I go into some articles I still need to switch to Web mode to see the full article.Ive already set it in Newsrob but still get only article summaries. Beyondpod does this well. The developer doesn't have a contact email on app page as well.

★★☆☆☆ Great app, but abandoned. This has been my favorite rss reader for a long time, but with Google reader ending developer is not trying to fix the reader to get past that point. Do not purchase!
