★★★★★ Amazing way to explore! This was a great way to learn about and explore a new city. The app was so easy to use. The tour was set up very logically. I would do this again in any other city I visit.
★★★★★ A fun way to explore a city! A friend and I did 2 Stray Boots self-guided tours of Nashville, TN. So FUN! It's a great way to explore the city you live in or a city you're visiting. Highly recommended. Will do it again!
★★☆☆☆ Eh... It's easier to use the text option. I love Stray Boots tours, but the droid app isn't the easiest to use. If I closed the app out (to check text messages, make a call, etc.), it would take me to the task before, so I had to re-enter. Then it gave us extra points. I also don't like that there isn't the option to upload the picture from your phone. You can only upload it from the app itself, so now I don't have a copy of the pictures I took. I know you can see them from the website, but they pictures are small and the quality isn't the greatest.
★★☆☆☆ Disappointingly poor! Good idea, poor app and boring tour. So poor that we did not use the free offer to give the tour to someone else. Overpriced as you need to buy 1 place for each person in your team.
★★☆☆☆ Keeps crashing At first, I tried to install the app on my 2011 HTC phone, but apparently it's too old to run the app. So I installed it on my tablet instead, but whenever I try to load my tour, it crashes. I've tried going from the home page, from "browse tours," and "my account," and I've also tried uninstalling and re-installing, but it still keeps crashing. I'm very disappointed, especially because I bought 2 tours 3 years ago, when they were just text-based (no app) and was very satisfied then.
