Power Search

Not bad but amazingly can't be used for a hold Search button shortcut!

This really is a useful app. Only missing feature is ability to search Outlook Tasks that are synced to my Samsung Epic 4G.

Everything seems to work fine, but one very important feature is not working as expected. When I search my contacts it returns all the contacts with the specific searched string. But if the contact in the results list is a business, restaurant... etc with just a Company Name - (No First or Last Name)... clicking on those business contacts returns a "Contact does not exist" error message. Believe me... the contacts are there and open just fine from the contacts list. I hope this issue is fixed soon, because this tool can save me a lot of time. I have notes associated with most of my business contacts and restaurants and having the ability to search for terms in those notes is very important to me. EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm using an AT&T Samsung Captivate

Keeps forcing close on Desire, was searching for an mp3 file on the phone, i checked all the option and added mp3 to the search options, but still wouldnt find it :-(

uninstalling I used to think this worked pretty good, but recently I discovered that some searches on my HTC desire Z were linked wrong. That is, the search indicates that a Contact is relevant, however, when I click on the contact, it brings me to some other, unrelated, contact. I can't rely on this, so as soon as I find a replacement universal search tool, I will be uninstalling this app.

Since Droid2 & other Droids have no native phone-wide search app (ridiculous, right?) this app is essential. Search results should appear quickly. If not, check which email acct you are using with Android Market. I have a dedicated acct for my phone and an older acct that I use as well. App suddenly stopped giving results, wd just search endlessly. Think this happened after Gingerbread update. Uninstalled. At top of Market page used pulldown to select other older GMail acct. Now works again. Would be 5 stars if not for this glitch.
