Description by RmDroider(from Google Play)
!!! NOTE: CurrentWidget doesn't work on Android N and above due to Android internal changes !!!
CurrentWidget displays how much electric current the device is using from the battery or receiving from the charger. It can also notify you when the device is using too much battery.
*NOTE: The electric current reading doesn't work on all devices. The reason is that the manufactures (mostly Motorola and Samsung) don't support this in the battery driver or in the hardware.
* Add widget to home screen after installation.
Now also includes: - Two widget designs (as two widgets in the widgets list) - Classic and Text. - Notification - get real time alerts on high current values! - Transparent style with customization options - Android Backup Service - Automatically restores your settings on new installations - Voltage & Battery level (%) display - Log battery values - Plot current graph - Analyze log options - Log file rotation - Custom operation - set an arithmetic operation on the current value to adjust for different devices - Option to show a persistent notification with all information from widget. - Customizations (size, color, etc.). - DashClock Widget extension.
Touch the displayed value to switch views. Select only one view to bring back configuration shortcut. Open settings & graph via launcher icon.
* The lightning icon changes color when the phone is charging (white/green).

Comments on CurrentWidget: Battery Monitor for Android
★★★★★
Still one of the best. No annoying ads, and it just works. Too bad it doesn't work on snapdragon 845 yet. @dev: thanks for all the effort you put in over the years
★★★★★
The widgets are nice and the display can be customized. Would have been perfect, unfortunately, it cannot read the charging current on Samsung Galaxy S3LTE (i9305). Nevertheless, other people reported it works on their phones, so I'll give 5 stars for the app in general. (Samsung phones are known to be tricky, and most apps don't work with Samsung, so it would have been unfair to blame the app.)
★★★★★
Great app A little suggestion it would be great if could plot trends of other values that I get in the log for instance voltage and battery level
★★★★★
Way too small as a widget, BUT there's a text widget which works great.
★★☆☆☆
The widget itself didn't pin to the home screen of my phone, it sucks if it
doesn't do what it's meant to do. I wouldn't mind if I could see the values
in the app, but I can't seem to do that either :/
★★☆☆☆
Not show nothing
★★☆☆☆
this is not working with Samsung note 9, mainly the current value, it is showing zero all the time
★★☆☆☆
Does not work on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (SM T-800), Running LineageOS 14.1. The app installed, but could not place widget on screen.
