I've been fussing with the free Email apps from the AppBrain Market for weeks (including my favorite: K-9 Mail, which I do use and like very much) trying to add Exchange, with absolutely no luck. Somewhere in a Motorola Forum I read about Exchange for Android 2.x and thought: "what the heck, it's not free, but it's worth a try." Am so glad I did. The first attempt my login credentials were rejected. Probably a typo on my part. The second try.... SUCCESS! Well Done!

Sorting of contacts doesn't respect national language (Czech). Very annoying to find contacts with first diacritic letter.

Good App however drains the battery I have a Nexus 5. I have installed the TouchDown app. It is working fine however the TouchDown app seems to eat away my battery life (i get to know this when i check the battery usage stats). E.g. I charged the mobile to 100% and within 5hrs it became 45% and the battery stats say 56% of the battery is used by TouchDown app. I never had this problem with the native email client of Android. I am currently giving only 2 stars. If this issue is fixed, I will change the rating. Symantec - please do something about this.

Not ready for the Enterprise Password nightmare. It seems like a pretty decent app but even without the password issue it wouldn't be worth $20. When you first deploy it you may think it's ok but when user's passwords start expiring you will become inundated with calls about Touchdown not working. It seems like a glaringly obvious requirement for the app to prompt you for a password when the password fails, because it was changed on the network, but two years with this app and they still don't have this feature. They just let it stop working and it's up to the user to realize that they are not receiving any more emails and need to change the password in Touchdown to match the computer password. Nobody knows how to do that so they phone me. I am tired of it and ditching Touchdown.
