User reviews of FooBar 2000 Remote Control
The buttons are nice and large with no over-the-top frills. While initially I REALLY liked this app, I have run into a few problems on my LG Optimus V. One thing I discovered, if you move the app to your SD card, the app will stop working when the screen goes to sleep. The socket between the app/phone/WiFi breaks and when you pickup the phone for use as a remote, you'll have to "quit" the app first then restart it in order to reconnect. While not as bad, I have experienced this issue even with the app on the phone as well. I pushed my screen time-out to a 10 min delay and that seems to have fixed the issue. The second problem is the deal-killer. For some reason, this app (at times) becomes so unresponsive that it locks up not only the app, but my entire phone. The only way to reset is to pull the battery (not fun!) I even reset my phone back to factory (erased everything but stock) then added back only this app to test to see if this was what was causing the issue (which began after installing this app) and sure-enough, freeze - lock - up - pull battery - reset. Sometimes I can go 10-20 mins before it happens, but it does happen repeatedly. If it weren't for these two issues, this would be a great little app. I LOVE the layout of the GUI - it's just a little too buggy on my phone at this time.

Works like a charm! However there should be a simple manual which would help with the configuration.

Works perfect with HD2 @ CM6 and foobar 0.9.5.2 :D

Well it works, sort of. If I'm browsing a very large playlist it will play a different song than the one I select. The app could sure use some performance improvement and a UI overhaul. Configuration is very easy and straightforward just install the component in foobar2000 on your PC and you're good to go.

只有一次機會 只有第一次進入可以即時設定想要做的動作,例如選了某首歌,之後就要等很久才能再按。 換SONY Z1C 升 4.4.4 後,就正常了。

Excellent The best feature is "Incoming call action". You can pause the music. But works only if the app is running. Huh.!
