Description by katzoft(from Google Play)
*** CONTAINS PUSH, ICON AND POPUP ADS ***
Gmail Widgets is a collection of homescreen widgets that show the number of unread messages and previews of those messages.
Unlike ALL of the other Gmail widgets on the Play Store, this app WORKS! Even with the the latest versions of Gmail.
Free? How can stuff be free? ---------------------------------- Because it contains ads. This includes banners, notifications, icons and popups. If you don't like ads, there's a paid version for you. We also have a trial in case you're still undecided. ----------------------------------
Features: - Updates automatically when new mail arrives (it may not update immediately while you read mails) - Shows the first lines of the message in addition to sender and subject - Supports multiple accounts on one device - Open Gmail or compose a new message quickly - Different sizes available (small, medium, large)
Buy the full version and enjoy: - Unified Inbox: add any labels from any Gmail accounts, plus SMS and calls to your widget - Better support for newer versions of Android: Holo-inspired design, resizable, scrollable, interactive widgets - Change settings after adding (no need to delete and re-add widget) - Optimised for tablets - No bothersome ads - Priority support - Active development
Please note: - This app will not show up in your launcher. Add widgets by holding down on an empty spot of your home screen. - It may take up to 30 seconds for the widget to refresh the first time and after a reboot. During this time it may not look like anything is happening! - Do not attempt to move to the SD card, as this will prevent it from working. - Send feedback on the forum if you would like to suggest a feature. If you leave a comment, be constructive. - This app is ad supported. This is necessary to support the developers. You can buy the full version to remove ads and to get more options to customise the widgets. Thank you!
Recent changes: -Enabled some customisation options (choose account, appearance and icon) -Refreshed configuration screen -Disabled credit system - you can now use it as an unlimited free version!

★★★★★
Very nice Very good app, but it would be nice to be able to change the background / make it transparent.
★★★★★
Very nice! Just can't figure out how to clear the new message count? Not the app's fault. I do agree with other comments, the widget could definitely be better looking, and have some options to customize it's appearance!
★★★★★
Good widget Does exactly what it says on the box. My only criticism is that it isn't the prettiest of widgets - the ability to control the hue and transparency of the background would be greatly appreciated, and it would be nice to have the normal Gmail icon instead of the app's own logo.
★★★★★
Nice widget Very useful, now that g counter doesn't work
★★☆☆☆
Spammer Do not download if you don't want airpush ad spams to come to your notification bar. Also the widget was pretty useless too. You can see the little bit of the email but you can't touch to open that email anywhere. At least on the free version anyway (not sure about the paid). Also the ugly icon (I don't enjoy that thing looking at me angry like that) can not be changed in the free version. All in all pretty poor app I must say.
★★☆☆☆
spam generator This widget will generate ads and put them in your notification bar. I would not recommend it.
