I bought the pixel 6 pro phone to use as a field camera to photograph grass flowering heads. The camera had a focus lock capability when I bought it. On an imediate update it was removed and other capabilities added rendering this camera app for my purposes useless. I leave it to your immense intelligence google to figure out why. Not to mention the camera app was so buggy I missed most of that season in the wild of the south-west of Western Australia.

Hello, I am using Pixel 9 Pro XL. I cannot find the Cinematic Blur (Portrait Video) option for the Front Camera. It only works on the rear camera. Please fix this bug and enable front camera blur video in the next update.

My camera app also no longer works correctly & continually crashes. It's been happening for close to 2 weeks now, especially bad timing since I was on vacation for much of that. Only the selfie camera works for pics & video. The main camera doesn't work at all. Nor does the main camera functionality work for other apps that need it. I've restarted the phone, uninstalled updates & reinstalled but nothing works. Have to long press the app icon & choose "take a selfie" to get the app open. Pixel 2.

Everything is good in this app. But previously I am updating my camera app. But inside that app some features are not working e.g. brightness adjustment, contrast adjustment like this.

I bought a pixel 10 pro based on the reviews of its camera and I totally regret it. I really hate the camera and the camera app, first, when trying to take a video with it, the interface is laggy and slow. The colors of the photos are inaccurate at all, I had a light purple light on, all photos I took were blue! When you flip the phone to portrait, the writings stay still, don't flip with the phone orientation! Overall, it's a terrible experience! Do better Google! Shame on u!

Incredible angry for last month or more. I have a back with camera when I trying to reduce the brightness. First time all is okay. But next time when you re-entering the app, you cannot adjust brightness. You need to close the app or stop the app or lock the screen. Then second time to open the app then you will be able to adjust the brightness. This happens every time for about 1 or 2 months. Maybe more. Device Pixel 8 Pro. I will be thankful as hell if you fix it.

After update only the selfie camera is working. Main camera will not work. Just a black screen. Uninstalled and reinstalled camera with no change. Nice QA on your updates ... once again they're bunk.

Pixel does not give the master control in camera it does not give the option of ISO, shutter speed, aperture and many more even cheap phones have this function so please add this it would be awesome
