Place calls and send text messages showing your Google number. Listen to voicemail and read transcripts. Currently only available in the US.
IMPORTANT: You must open Google Voice at least once after upgrading to route calls.
Recent changes: * Asynchronous SMS sending (offline queuing) - Note that it still works synchronously for multiple recipients. * New style UI in Honeycomb and ICS * Official user feedback menu on each screen (previously dogfood menu).
Latest version: 0.4.2.44 (for Android version 2.1 and higher)
I use Google Voice anyway. With Sprint's integration with it, it is even better. One number most everywhere and with a click on the website I can redirect it to another phone/carrier. I recently had to use my iPhone for personal AND business use while my EVO was down. Google Voice made it transparent and painless.
This app is just about worthless. Can't delete calls, when I try the come right back. Can't block callers. Does not show any missed calls. Needs a lot of work and or updates.

Widget sucks Widget lags by over 12 hours on galaxy nexus. No longer includes do not disturb button. Disappointing!

After the recent update, it "queued" the message for an EXTENDED amount of time. I have to go to the net to send my messages. FIX IT.
