GrindQuest

You find yourself standing in an epic fantasy setting. You are presumably some sort of hero and are about to embark on a vastly important Quest of some kind, probably to save the world or something. Anyway, you are clearly very important and the one that destiny has chosen because you're just so very special. You should start right away or it could be too late (possibly).

Name your hero and choose a race and class, then set out your epic journey. On your journey, in most areas you will choose to either Grind, or Quest. Quests will be limited in each area, but will give faster reward. In either case, you will be killing creatures with various names and strengths that are likely evil, smell bad or are gross in some way.

As you do this, you will experience the ecstasy of watching progress bars fill or empty at your whim. Also, you will see several numbers located about, trending slowly upwards in a general fashion. This means you're getting stronger, and thus it is your sworn duty to obsess over obtaining marginal increases in these numbers. As invariably your numbers become too high for the current area you will want to change settings to continue your journey elsewhere, where the bad guy's numbers will be more comprable to your own.

You would think that all this 'fun' would require a lot of effort and attention on your part, but it doesn't! It is not your responsibility to click the same sequence of buttons every few seconds to ensure you still have a pulse and are paying attention. Advanced technology allows us to remove this tedium, so that all you need to do is strategically streamline the process. Set your hero up on the path you desire, then go about your trivial existence in a world whose fate does not depend on you. Then return at intervals to repurpose and guide him. Who knows, you may even get some shiny epix.

Version 1.4 now live:
-Fixed an issue that could cause meta is meta achievement to not grant heirlooms to new characters. If this happened to you, just load the character with the achievement and save. All new characters created will then properly receive heirlooms.
-Fixed several UI glitches related to using the market/bank.
-The items tab will now open automatically when using the bank/market/armor crafting.
