Why delete the widget?? I love having all my book widgets on my home screen, so I can easily see which books I'm currently reading. Please bring it back!

I have a very large library of Kobo eBooks. There was an issue with the extremely long load time for the My Books section. This was corrected with a recent update. Now the only issue is recently purchased books still showing in Wishlist.

Edit: 2026. I am pissed that I buy a book, then after a while it disappears from my library. I'm then given the option to BUY IT AGAIN! This has happened several times. I bought an entire 14 book series, and now only 2 books are still in my library. I just went to read another book, and it's gone. Are we renting books now? 2024: The app is great. This new monthly membership can take a jump. I will continue to purchase books outright. If I want to borrow a book, I will goto the library.

The update wrecked the app, removed progress in books for me, and removed all book covers that make them easy to recognize. Dumb update, 1 star

Ever since the latest major app update, listening to audiobooks through Kobo has become a miserable experience. Now, every time I pause the book and come back to it, it's a coin flip whether I can pick up where I left off, or whether the book has inexplicably been reset to the beginning. I'm a few hours into my current book and my progress has been reset three times today. I'm considering cancelling my audiobook subscription as a result.
