Great for work. I highly suggest you use Hackers Keyboard with it to get a full PC keyboard.

Is it possible to hook this up to my Xbox, so I can do an Xbox server

Use it all the time and have to say it's still the best remote app on the market... Running on an HP i7 desktop and a Samsung Note 10 plus phone...

The function keys and mouse movement are easier to use than in some other remote control apps. I was able to send a key sequence for Control-Alt-Uparrow just now, and it worked fine. In the past a slow internet connection had caused multiple key presses to be transmitted, but that hasn't happened recently.
