★★★★★ I was so incredibly sad when my phone updated to Android 10 and the Bookari app stopped working. I thought for sure it had been abandoned by the developers, and it had been my favorite e-reading app up until that point. I had hundreds of books and thousands of notes synced on my premium Bookari account and I never did find a good enough replacement eBook app. But I kept checking for updates just in case, and noticed a somewhat recent user review saying they had contacted the developer and received an updated .apk from them (outside the Google Play Store) that worked with Android 10. Apparently they couldn't issue it through the Play Store due to 32/64bit Adobe library issues? At any rate I can confirm that there IS an updated .apk file available directly from the developer's website, and it DOES work, even with Android 11. All my data is there, everything is as it used to be. I had to uninstall the previous version before the newer one would work, though. I wish the developer had been more transparent about these issues and communicated directly with their user base a little better, but I'm just so thrilled to have my Bookari app back with all my books and notes preserved exactly as they were. Developers, PLEASE keep updating for future Android versions! I don't care if I have to get the updates directly from the developer as long as they WORK. I will continue paying for Premium for life if you just keep this app functioning. Thank you to the commenter who mentioned this in their review because I might have missed it otherwise. You jsut made my day.
