Description
The internet. As it should be.
Firefox is a private web browser designed to protect your data, block trackers and make browsing fast, secure and simple. Whether you’re looking for an incognito browser, a private search experience, or a reliable browser for everyday use, Firefox puts you first.
Why people choose Firefox More privacy, less tracking – Firefox automatically blocks social media trackers, cross-site cookies, crypto miners and fingerprinting scripts. Private browsing that protects you – Open private tabs that don’t save your history, searches, or cookies. Lock them with your device security for extra protection. Fast, smooth performance – Load pages faster by blocking trackers and reducing unnecessary data usage. Search your way – Use your preferred private search engine or switch easily from the search bar. Passwords made simple – Generate, store and autofill passwords securely. Tabs that work for you – Easily organize and switch between tabs and sync them across devices to pick up where you left off. Focus without distractions – Reader View strips away clutter, while picture-in-picture lets you multitask with videos. Control your experience – Add extensions like ad blockers, customize settings and choose how you browse. Make it yours – Customize your home screen, layout and shortcuts for a more personal browsing experience. AI on your terms – Turn AI completely off or customize it feature by feature. Quick page summaries – Shake your phone to cut through long pages and get the key points. Sync across devices – Access your bookmarks, tabs and passwords anywhere you use Firefox.
Private by default Firefox is built to protect you. Enhanced Tracking Protection automatically blocks common trackers, while Total Cookie Protection keeps cookies isolated to the sites where they belong. When you need more privacy, private browsing mode ensures your history, searches and cookies aren’t saved. Private tabs can also lock automatically, so your activity stays yours.
Your browser. Your rules. Firefox puts you in charge of your internet. Add privacy or productivity extensions, including ad blockers, move your search bar, choose your default search engine and tailor your browser to how you use the web. Sync your data across devices for a seamless, consistent experience.
Focus with Firefox. Fast, secure and built around you Firefox is designed to help you stay focused with faster, more secure browsing. Reader Mode removes clutter from articles, Picture-in-Picture keeps videos accessible while you multitask and Tracker Blocking helps pages load faster. Built-in password management and private browsing keep everyday browsing simple and protected.
Built for people, not profit Firefox was created in 2004 by Mozilla as a faster, more private and customizable browser designed to put people first. Today, Mozilla remains a nonprofit working to make the internet — and the time you spend on it — better.

Comments on Firefox Fast & Private Browser for Android
★★★★☆Vincent Lionheart· Aug 17, 2026
Hi! I just want to add something. Can you add a "tab group bar," so we can easily switch between tabs in a tab group? Also, can you add an option to open new tabs straight into the tab group when hold-clicking and selecting the option inside one of the tabs in the group? So, I don't have to open those new tabs outside the tab group and manually put them inside the tab group. And also, like I said before, please make tab groups available while browsing privately. Thank you very much, Firefox!

I have left Chrome. I'm experiencing too many issues after last update.

I've been using Firefox for a few months now, and I don't know why I didn't use it earlier. My husband was the one who put me onto Firefox noting its ease of use and respect to consumer privacy as his fave features. I agree. Firefox is a straightforward browser, does not have "noise" with ads, and is easy to use and navigate. I missed being able to group my tabs when I first started using Firefox, but with the recent updates I can group tabs again! Very happy with the new updates. I 5/5 recommend

Take back control of your privacy and don't give everything to Google and chromium. Firefox is really great.

The sheer amount of AI nonsense in Firefox just isn't good, and to be honest, Firefox has become quite slow and bloated. I've considered switching to alternatives like Firefox, Water fox, or even Brave, because Firefox isn't really the browser I recommend anymore. It used to be a go-to recommendation, but honestly, I've changed my tune. I'd definitely steer people away from it now.

Why does every download need me to confirm where it's saved, why did you guys change it was fine, are you guys not testing before shipping changes, even AI with basic UI/UX skill would have found this?

FireFox is the only browser I trust, but.... Again an update, Aug 2026 is kicking me off and keeping me off Account Sync. So if I can ever get back on, should I quit updating?
★☆☆☆☆Kieran O'Connor· Jul 31, 2026
I hate tab groups, it is SO AGGRAVATING, Mozilla PLEASE PLEEEEEEASE give us the option to disable this on both Desktop and Android Firefox!

Do not like the new dark theme I do not like the new black dark theme, it causes eye strain for anyone who is migraine prone. Please bring back the gray option!
