What is the chip date. Had my note 8 since 2017. It was lost in 05/2019, but returned by the USPS. When i got it back it had AndroRat in it. I flashed binaries in odin. But my eMCC chip date is 05/2019 when viewed in this app. I never NAND erased. Been trying to get .PIT..added .zip to CSC but when extracted had no .PIT. Gonna try adb. But the chip date on the eMMC is 05/2019 when phone was lost. Could somerhing been done to the eMMC ? Like a VPN root tunnel ?

Does the job. When I get my Note 8, this is THE FIRST APP to use. I lost my Notes 4 and 2 to the same death spiral. Exactly the same. They never fixed it and my carrier's rep told me so. He said they are trying very hard. Trust me: you're lucky if all you get are singed fingers. (You won't. JK) *THIS is the real problem.* It's happening to new S8's and to the older Nexuses before they changed the name. The bootloop to death spiral hasn't gone away. Take IT BACK! OR SEND IT BACK. They will replace it if you do this immediately, best if still in the store. Use a brick and mortar; it's easier to get a clean phone that way immediately. Do not worry about what color it is, please. Only use a phone that passes this test. For some reason, they simply do not understand why some chips from the same manufacturer are good and some have this serious bug. To be safe, do this with ANY brand, not just Samsung.
