User reviews of NetHack
Great game, but it could use a menu instead of the control shortcuts. Movement is simple though because og the 'grid overlay'. And D&D dungeons are fun indeed!

Good effort but not really playable on my dell streak 2.2 due to tiny game window size.not sure how anyone can play it on smaller screens.shame

Looks good, but with HTC Incredible (no hardware keyboard and optical joystick doesn't do diagonals) it's basically unplayable at present.

Great porting, but too difficult to play on a small video screen and with no keyboard. Uninstalled.

Good game, bad UI NetHack is a classic and lots of fun. Unfortunately, this is a pretty direct port of a game that really expects a keyboard. Interactions could be much more enjoyable if the controls were remade with tablets in mind.

Glitchy Sometimes won't load saved game, someone's loads game and then freezes after a couple of moves.

Unplayable Seems designed for a super low-resolution screen. The keyboard is less than 1cm wide in the bottom corner and there doesn't seem to be a way to use a real Android keyboard.

It's a direct port Unfortunately, a direct port has no concession to a touchscreen or the limitations of a software keyboard. There are better Nethack ports free on the market. Try the version by Gurr, instead.
