Notify My Android

Notify My Android allows you to deliver push notifications from any application to your Android device, through our easy-to-use API that can be integrated into your software.

NMA is the notification app with the biggest number of plugins, services and applications that already integrates with our API.

Find out how to forward notifications from Growl (Win and Mac), Snarl, OpenNMS, Nagios/Icinga, PRTG, and many others to your Android. Create cool triggers on Zapier and receive push notifications from Twitter, Asana, Dropbox, Github and many others! The possibilities are endless!

You get a quota of 5 notifications per day for free and can upgrade to a Premium Account for unlimited notifications for a one time fee.

Go to http://www.notifymyandroid.com/apps.jsp to check a list of currently supported applications.

Other apps that have built-in integration with NMA: aNag, MetaWatch (Read the notifications on your watch!) and Tasker.

Our public API is simple, fast and reliable (more than 10,000,000 notifications delivered so far), more info:

Sometimes it doesn't work The client tools are great, but you cannot be sure your notification will arrive. Sometimes, right after opening the app, I receive a new notification that was sent several hours before.

Unreliable and pricy Pushbullet works far better (notifications always show up quickly), and is free.

Decent, but screenshots seem a bit misleading My notifications get through without too much delay now, but I am unable to figure out how to change from the default notification icon to anything else, whether by api call or setup. Screenshots shot separate icons for github and other applications. How do I do this? Update: looked at the forums and it has been a requested feature for over two years. Any chance of an ETA?

Seems a little hit or miss Until recently the app used to work flawlessly. However now the push notifications don't seem to work at all. The notification appears in the app when you load it manually, but that negates the point of the app entirely.

Good Does what it says it will but I found other apps that could do similar things for free. Might have some functionality that I didn't see or need. If this app is dead as I see suggested I recommend PushBullet.
