SMS Backup

This app will backup and restore sms from your device to an xml file stored in the sdcard/SMSBackup folder.
You can choose the filename to save and if you have other backups done choose which backup to restore!
Now you can send the backup by email!
I tested this on the HTC Hero and on the Emulator 1.5, 1.6, 2.1.

Latest version: 2.9.6 (for all Android versions)

Do not install! It restored my messages with no ordering. Completely ruined 4000+ messages! Very, very angry.

Ugh TERRIBLE! It didn't backup my MMS first of all. Then when I restored, all of my SMS were out of order, and all of the the timestaps were set incorrectly to the time of the restore. Now I have to deal with this mess! >_< -Deh Bionic

Mzsw33t Sms backup Backed up my sms but they are not in the same order...and the time stamps have changed to the date I backed them up on boooohooo

Love it Works well! Never receive errors. I recommend moving the sms backup folder to your sd card using a file manager
