I have used this app for nearly 3 years now. Always restricted all permissions. For the first time yesterday I gave it the permission for all access and within 2 hours I got a mobile data warning. I found that speediest had used 1.1gb data, WITHIN 2 HOURS IN THE BACKGROUND

After being given the link for down detector and fraudulently being shown "dodndetector and speed test" It's nothing to do with down detector and is an absolute fraud, if you want a speed test use Nerf

There might be a glitch or something but the fact that the location seems to be more mandatory vs optional is really getting to me when I just want to do a quick speed test. Mind you this notice exists **You may use the functions of Speediest even if you do not grant the above Location Permission or Phone Permission**
