Great app, responsive developer. The app its self is the best for my mapping needs that I've found. It's clean, quick, stable and has all the features I value. I rely on having offline mapping databases on my SD card for when I'm hiking, out of data signal, travelling abroad, to save the battery a little and finally recycling old phones as offfline GPS units for family. All on a free / donation basis :-) I finally got round to buying the donation version after the developer responded to a bug I encountered, complete with a fixed build of the program the next day! Very few commercial developers will give you anything close to that level of support. Thanks to the dev for this great app and my highest recommendations to anyone considering installing or supporting it by donating. Some features I hope get added in the future: Ability to download non-rectangular regions of maps. Ability to remove regions from existing map databases. Search feature in POI list. Share tracks, POIs and maybe even small regions of map tile via bluetooth with other peoples phones running rmaps.

Good, but.. Doesn't seem to provide navigation, only maps. Is POI empty by default? No matter which map i used, i didn't find a list of POI stored. I couldn't use it offline either, only online. No option to download maps n store it to my phone. Anyone?

I don't get it... So it's an offline map app. But it only shows ur location on a downloaded map when offline. No navigation is really taking place unless u r online. Osmand provides search and navigation directions when offline...
