Comments on Screen Off for Android

★★★★★ Finally found an app that only turns off screen without locking it. And it works flawlessly, and is ad free.
★★★★★ Simple, elegant, and flawless I love having this on my home screen. With a soft screen touch I can power off my phone unobtrusive with no fumbling during a meeting etc. HTC EVO 4G and Asus Transformer Prime.
★★★★★ The ONLY app that turns off screen... ...without locking it. It's essential after Google's silly new security policy where turning off screen using an app disables fingerprint unlock and requires you to enter password instead. This app is life saver if you don't want to use power button to turn off screen.
★★☆☆☆ Can't believe I bought this, "screen of and lock" by katecca is so much better, free and instantly sleeps the phone with no wait, unlike this app
★★☆☆☆ Lifehacker sent me here because... It was on sale free, but I was surprised to find that it actually doesn't do anything but let your screen time out. Uninstalled!
★★☆☆☆ Should be better. Would be five stars if it turned screen off right away. Five second rule is unnecessary now. Needs an update. Motorola Photon
★★☆☆☆ Why pay for this when it's free from Katecca, "Screen Off and Lock". Does the same for free. I was stupid for paying for this.
