But it DOES work. This is how... I love this app. I use it constantly everyday. The dev's instructions on how to use it aren't the best, however. Being new to smartphones, I was unfamiliar with how/why to use widgets and the dev's instructions don't mention the widget at all. Stupid! If you're having trouble at first, like I did, this is how to make it work: 1- Install ScreenLock. 2- Open the app. 3- Tick the "Enable Lock" box. This opens a dialog window: 4- Click "Activate" button. 5- Close app. 6- Long-press on your homescreen to open the android "Add to Home Screen" menu and press "Widgets." 7- Find & Press "ScreenLock." 8- The ScreenLock widget icon is now on your homescreen. Press it to lock your screen (screen goes black and touch is disabled) Done. You only have to do this setup once. Works great. I've only had one problem: after using ScreenLock for a few months, it stopped working one day. I had to Uninstall, redownload, and Install it again to get it to work again. Nothing is perfect. Other than that, it's been great. Thanks, dev, but you really should explain how to use it!
