Description by Alessandro Crugnola(from Google Play)
Simply Note is just a clean and simple notepad application. It has been done for those who dont want the full and too much featured notes applications with tags, folders, photos, locations, sync and so on. This is very similar to the iPhone note app, just create and edit notes, and a couple of features more, like synchronization and reminders.
Very simple to easy. Just create a new note. save it and you're done!
They can also be included in the global search system to easily find out your notes in the future.
Installation includes also a home screen widget.
The main features are: * Create, edit, delete notes. * Import/Export all your notes for backup * Synchronize your notes with google tasks. * Send notes to calendar. * Mark notes as completed. * Share in/out. You can share a note with one of your installed services ( fb, twitter, dropbox, gmail, etc.. ) but you can also import text from one of them too. * Dropbox synchronization. Just login into your dropbox account, from the preferences panel, and start sync your notes accross different devices. * Alarm reminders. For every note you can add a reminder. You'll be notified, by a system popup and with a vibration and a sound beep. * Auto-backup of your notes * Change theme
To understand permissions used in this app: * INTERNET: used for synchronization * ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: used by ads * WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: used for backup and restore * VIBRATE and RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: used for alarm reminders * GET_ACCOUNTS, USE_CREDENTIALS, READ_SYNC_SETTINGS and WRITE_SYNC_SETTINGS permissions are used for google tasks integration. * INSTALL_SHORTCUT used to create desktop shortcuts for a single note.

Best Notepad App I have tried many other notepad apps before finding this one and I do not think I will ever search again. This application lets me customize the size of the widget, scroll through many notes on the widget, and it does not require much memory. Other notepad applications use a sticky note approach but this app uses whatever size you want. Along with size comes the ability to scroll through all previous notes on the widget itself. This is great because it allows just one widget for many notes rather than many

Good I love this app but please add a create folder option in the next version

Excellent Taking notes has never been so simple, smart and fast. Good job.

Wanted 2-way sync with Dropbox This app says it syncs with DropBox but actually it sends a backup to DropBox. Can't actually open the notes in Notepad on the computer, much less edit them. I'll keep looking for a notepad app with full 2-way sync.
★★☆☆☆
Dropbox sync requires full dropbox access... I would love to use the feature to sync my notes to dropbox, however, this app requires full access to your entire dropbox. I do not feel comfortable with this. Apps like this should be using the more recommended App Folder access instead. Giving only 2 stars, because the only reason I tried this app was because of the dropbox support, but because of the Full level of access it uses, I will not be using it.

Makes a lot of duplicates when turned on sync with Gtasks - every time sync makes a lot of duplicates 100 notes max?! Sux :(

No menu button. I loved this app on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread (Samsung Galaxy S 4G) and on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (Samsung Galaxy S Blaze), both of which had a hardware menu button. Just upgraded to Android 4.4.2 KitKat (Samsung Galaxy Avant) & cannot access settings or import old notes since there is no menu button. Please add a software menu button. Thanks!
