Comments on SK Sync Client for Android

★★★★★ Great concept! Needs to not transfer files in use by other programs. Can cause files to become corrupted. UI could use some work too, but a good start

★★★★★ Works great Super fast sync. A little difficult to set up; interface could be nicer.

★★★★★ Work well and very fast. Setup page is very confusing. I have many times accidentally deleted the setups.

★★☆☆☆ Fail! Zeigt falsche IP des Gerätes an, somit unbrauchbar weil Zugriff unmöglich.

★★☆☆☆ Truncated my file Hopefully this will double as a bug report. I ran a test sync between my ASUS Transformer and my desktop PC (running Fedora), using the default options for a single folder containing one 3.8kb text file. The file transferred was truncated at exactly 72 lines. Neither the server nor client gave any indication of a transfer error. Obviously does not checksum files for verification. Since the file was then synced back, both are now corrupted. I want a bidirectional sync, but I can't trust this program. Also: apparently a bug in Android affecting some devices (not the dev's fault) causes the modification timestamps to be incorrect, making bidirectional sync (much) less useful.

★★☆☆☆ Too much hassle to set up..!
