I use Square for online orders, but there is one major problem: the notification sounds for new orders is too short and easy to miss. I have lost multiple orders because staff did not hear the alert. Square should offer a continuous notification option that keeps ringing until someone acknowledges the order, similar to DoorDash.

After 13 years, my account was deactivated for "violating TOS". No explanations. Customer support was not helpful at all (when I could actually understand them 😑), everyone kept being vague and short with me. The whole thing was ridiculous.

After downloading Square mobile specifically to receive a promotional gift card, I reached out to square when it wouldn't process. They assured me for 4 days whilst they initiated migration of the card type they said would just take time. Whilst I honored the customer not to inconvenience them. I followed up 3 times and was assured it was all ok, and I would receive a call. Still never received a call and was emailed "the card can't be accepted". I am now out of pocket $100. Terrible service.

I gave them literally every shred of information about my business that existed. Everything. And then they asked for more.and more... Until I was drafting new documents about this legitimate business of mine just for them. I desperately needed ANY run-of-the-mill POS service: so my hard work throughout my life could see some gains... So I could stand alongside all the other... Americans...in shared Success. Well, they flat denied passage of my business and kept all my $. I give up. Won't be long.
