Comments on Microsoft SwiftKey AI Keyboard for Android

★★★★★ Romie Rosman · Sep 17, 2026

Been using Swift Key for years now. Easy to use. Can support multiple languages.

★★★★★ Ryan Daguman · Sep 8, 2026

I've been using this Microsoft Swift keyboard for several years now, and I found it very useful up to now on my current phone. I started using it on my very first Android phone way back 2018.

★★★★★ Kenneth Li · Sep 18, 2026

I dumped the stock Google android keyboard on Moto Razr Fold for this kb. this kb let me type the way I wanted. Google kb always starts my sentence with capital and replace my i with I. I do it my way ! No capital on the first word of sentence and use i instead of I

★★★★★ LostIn Space · Sep 29, 2026

I really enjoy using swift keyboard, it helps wanna I need to use the exclamation make, question mark and the full stop ince all I have to do is either swipe or type. And one thing I realized is that if I'm typing with only one hand I can just swipe my finger across the keyboard. Matter of fact, as I'm typing all this, I'm using the swift keyboard itself.

The bar that holds shortcuts above the keyboard doesn't have as much customization ability it forces you to have six items whether you like it or not. It automatically censored me. And the whole reason I installed the app was because I was told that it wouldn't abbreviate measurements when using speech to text, it did, and I can't turn it off. I would be willing to put up with the rest if it didn't abbreviate measurements.

Worst keyboard, no phonetic option available for other languages. No proper voice input. It should be available in English as a primary language countries only. A humble request to Samsung, stop promoting microsoft applications. Samsung's applications are sufficient to satisfy their users. Microsoft was a complete failure in launching their own phones and now repeating the history with their useless applications full of ads. Just one question here...why do you need to show ads??

★☆☆☆☆ Niklas Budrovcan · Sep 29, 2026

I'm revising my review after almost 10 years to again taste this with the lowest rating. Since Microsoft acquired this keyboard it's gotten worse and worse. AI injections, absolute bottom of the barrel word prediction and the swipe type writing, which I've used for about 10 years now, is getting worse with every update. Still can't turn off emojis. And they're probably collecting and selling every piece of data they can get from your input on this keyboard.

★☆☆☆☆ Dallas Allred · Sep 13, 2026

Believe isn't a word. Aesthetic is a word. Nonchalance is a word. No matter how many times I tell this keyboard it's wrong it doesn't actually learn. And no the latest version did not fix this. It still has "believe" weighted above believe in predictions including an asinine "believe it". Was immediately suggested upon testing.
