Trapster is a free app that alerts you as you approach speed traps, red light / speed cameras, accidents, and other roadway hazards. Join the world's largest drivers network, with over 13 million users worldwide!

* World's most complete and up to date speed trap & enforcement camera database, with over 4.5 MILLION traps reported.
* Rate traps submitted by other users. The system learns credibility of users over time based on how many users agree with the traps they report.
* Patrol(TM) displays a blue line on the roads recently traveled by other Trapster users, assuring you that the road ahead was “patrolled” recently.
* Virtual Radar (R) dynamic alert area narrows and elongates based on your speed and direction of travel.
* Speed Limit is displayed with speedometer. The speedometer will change color if your speed is higher than the posted speed limit.
* Trapster Widget – Display the Trapster widget on your home screen to quickly view traps, vote on traps, and launch the Trapster application.
* Alerts can be in English, French, German, Spanish and many fun sound themes.
* Background Processing - Press the Home Key to run Trapster in the background

This app has a lot of potential but falls short, the GPS and map can't seem to link up at all and I'm usually 5 - 10 miles further down the road than the app says I am. Then after about a minute it just hangs up and stops reporting speed or location. Phone model Samsung Indulge SCH-R915 (Cricket)

Use tasker I use tasker to launch google nav as soon as this launches. Choose the lite mode in trapster. It adds the missing speed camera alerts to google nav!
