Comments on Vehicle Barcode Scanner Lite for Android

★★★★★ Works great at junkyards. Easy to point and capture VIN barcodes. Except Subaru, no barcodes for those vehicles. Glad there is a manual entry option.

★★★★★ Amazing A++ This does exactly what it should do. Scan vin and allows you to share it

★★★★★ This app is awesome for insurance and Bureau of Motor Vehicle workers. This app saves so much time, if you are a bureau motor vehicle worker or car insurance agent. In the cold and rain you want to be outside as little as possible this helps

★★☆☆☆ Don't install don't work Don't install don't work, only gives year and displays unknown modle, that's it

★★☆☆☆ Reads VIN, doesn't give much info Only gives you the VIN #, year & make. It would be much better if it gave you model, engine, nche date, etc. Pay version gives the same info.

Description by PixoVIN Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.

Pixo's Vehicle VIN Barcode Scanner LITE is uniquely optimized to accurately scan linear VIN barcodes — including through windshield glare and in a variety of indoor/outdoor lighting situations. Upgrade to our Fleet application (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixotech.pixoVIN) for additional features.

NOTE: This app does NOT provide additional information about the vehicle beyond basic year and make.

HOW IT WORKS:
• Launch the app. No logins or accounts are needed.
• Position your smartphone camera over the barcode, so the barcode fills the screen. There is no button to push. The app will automatically scan the barcode after your device camera focuses.
• Use the Light button to illuminate the barcode if necessary.

DEVELOPER SDK AVAILABLE: Add advanced barcode scanning to your mobile app using pixoVIN's Capture SDK. Learn more at http://vehiclebarcodescanner.com/capture
