Installed and using this app for the first time, Loving it. Way better than parsec for controlling PC, windows or Linux, from android. Really solved my problem of using Ubuntu remotely via android phone or tablet, especially from the lock screen itself. Can't use parsec in Ubuntu for hosting at all.

Update 14-07-2026, still very stable workhorse for remote acces. It works perfectly, every time, all the time. And is still the best for home network headless Raspberry Pi servers, where it is included free of charge.

It was fine until recently my laptop got a new IP, so I had to update the IP in the app. I did and now get the unencrypted connection warning page again, and I can uncheck the warn me every time toggle, but the actual ok button to proceed is at the very top of my screen UNDERNEATH MY STATUS BAR (underneath the battery and Wi-Fi symbols), so I can't press the ok button to proceed any further.

Since last update I can not use this on pixel 8 pro when I click on a connection it goes to the next screen and the top bar is at the very top behind the date and behind the network connection icons, so I can not click on to connect. This is the same in the settings screen total unusable this was never like this before I guess I will have to look at alternatives.
