WidgetLocker is a lock screen replacement that puts you in control of the look, feel and layout of your lock screen.
- Drag and Drop placement of Sliders, Android Widgets and App Shortcuts
- Sliders look selectable from built-in styles (Ice Cream Sandwich, Gingerbread, Sense and Sense 3, Motorola, iPhone, and Rotary) or from user-themes.
- Slider Actions can be customized, for example Slide-to-launch-Camera or Slide-to-call-your-Girlfriend.
- Resizable widgets and custom grid size
- Notification badges on apps/sliders via ADWNotifier ( http://t.co/LDKMQii )
- Customize which widgets/buttons are allowed or blocked at the lock screen

If anyone is interested I've created a blog page with what I consider to be the best Widget Locker settings. These are of course only my opinion but you can modify them to suit. http://www.bestsettings.info/2011/11/best-widget-locker-settings/

Great app, but would it be possible to have call answer screen also? That was the main reason for me to try widgetlocker but it didnt have that option.

[NEW]With latest update the bugs with WidgetLocker (Home button helper) and GoLauncher is gone. Widget Locker does not drain my battery. I've got no complaints after last update, I love it through and through. Oh, and I use SwipePad. Naturally WidgetLocker doesn't lock SwipePad, but I found that to be a good thing actually. [OUTDATED]I liked it, but lock function doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S2 right now. You have to do a workaround explained on the developer's webpage (with "home button helper"). Sadly the workaround is glitchy together with GoLauncher, and in the end I stopped using WidgetLocker. I will start use WidgetLocker again when there's a real fix for SGS2, because the app is lovely. I found no other lock screen to match it.

Good, but... Very customizable, but slows my phone down a lot. Uses a lot of RAM.

Where's the lock? It will open the phone but not really lock it or unlock the phone. Using default phone pattern/password will lock my phone, this app won't, so if that's what you are looking for, keep looking... Revised, ok, it doesn't lock so you have to rely on the stock Android lock screen for security. I've set my Android screen lock to 20 minutes, then use this app the rest of the time. Its nice and very customizable, and quick email response to questions.
