Description

@Voice Floating Button Plugin is not a stand-alone application. It is for use with @Voice Aloud Reader only, providing a "floating" button that stays on top of any other screen, until disabled. Provides Play/Pause functions, and upon long press shows or hides two smaller side buttons that let you advance or backup reading aloud by sentences, or upon long press - jump to the next or previous article on your reading list. Easily move to any place on the screen, or hide/show the button from the notification.

In the main @Voice app, activate this button through the Settings menu - Screen and sleep timer settings - Show @Voice floating button... checkbox.

★★★★★ I changed from apple to android for this app... and it was worth it. This is a core tool for me as a busy physician for keeping up with my readings. The addition of Google wavelet is just tremendous, and makes TTS of technical medical text far better. Combined with regex exclusion of citations and other junk, this app is outrageously useful. Someone gives this outstanding and very responsive dev a medal 🏅.

★★★★★ Great tool. Only missing one shortcut to add bookmarks. Is there a way to have a floating bookmark button? 🤔

★★☆☆☆ This is a complete nonsense app. I thought it would be reading from the screen I have opened. Instead, it opens only the main app. Luckily it's for free, but even that is too expensive for no function at all.

★★☆☆☆ Does NOT pause. Which is the major reason to have this add-on. Long press will display jump buttons that DO work. Love the full app. Please fix floating button.

★★☆☆☆ I love the float-over buttons, and it reads really well. However, it reads whatever it wants to read, not what I want it to read. For example, I have it over my browser screen, but it reads from the Kindle book. Once I finally get it out of the Kindle book by randomly stopping and restarting, it starts reading the browser screen, but not the active window. But rather another one that I closed couple hours ago. Does anyone else has the same experience?
