Do not trust this app for life-saving alerts!!! Six years ago I notified them that if the default alert sound is changed, then the alerts stop working. I've had multiple phones since then, and it still suffers from the same problem!! They've never fixed it! Find another app that works correctly for alerts. Maybe an app from a competing station in your local area. Here's the kicker. Our local meteorologists know about the problem too, but even they can't get the devs to fix this app!

I use the app frequently each day, and have for years. I strongly dislike the truck commercial, albeit brief, EVERY SINGLE TIME I open it. I'm ready to uninstall the app and use one for a different local weather alert.

App never right. Changes every few hours. What is on the news, app hourly, daily never agrees. The weather people need to go back to doing the work, so they can get it right.
