I was switching from OnePlus 8 to OnePlus 15. I copied everything over smoothly except for messages, which wouldn't transfer with the Clone Phone App. This app helped solve that problem -(old phone) use this app to download messages onto Google Drive as a file -(new phone) use Google Drive to download messages onto new phone, and import the files onto this app -give it a minute, the old messages will load onto the default messages app

Did the mandatory switch from Samsung to Google messages and half my messages are gone. Tried to search for them in Google Drive, and they are files that won't open.

I used this to back up my texts from Samsung Messages before switching to Google Messages. I saved it in Google Drive, however when I try to access the file it goes halfway, and then I get an error code. I don't understand it. And its very frustrating.

Terrible! All messages are literally sporadic and not where they are supposed to be when doing a restore. When trying to clean up messages they delete in batches instead of single selection. Pretty much lost everything that I wanted as part of my restore. don't recommend at all.

Deceptive UI and broken cloud logic. The app flashes "Backup Complete" the moment it finishes scanning files locally, completely ignoring that the file is actually stuck in the upload queue. The main screen provides no live progress bar or data meter for large uploads. In Archive Mode, it still forces a full re-upload of the entire multi-GB file to OneDrive every time, choking home Wi-Fi. Turn off automation and stick to manual cable uploads if you have a large media history.
