Excellent app! I had just bought a new phone and have spent hours trying to transfer my call logs from my Pixel 8 to my new android phone, the Motorola Edge 70. And no matter what I had tried, nothing worked! Everything was backed up correctly on my G Drive but for some reason, the call logs would not get transferred. Gemini and a few people on reddit, recommended using SMS Backup & Restore. Well, everything worked perfectly. Thank you! I bought the Pro version to support the dev.

I'm happy to have the backups. Not so happy that the program is set to upload daily and delete 1 old backup. But it never deletes, and I run out of space. Have to manually from Google Drive.

Will overwrite MMS table on restore, so if you have image, etc. not backed up, and you restore, say goodbye to that and any other MMS. And stupidly backs up trash. Stop that or make setting! So this really makes this app useless for MMS. Goodbye.

Tried this app to back up some old texts on my old phone. It backed them up in a XML file, but no images. Not happy with this app either.

This is the most annoying app, it doesn't work. It purposefully doesn't show local backup, shows wrong non-existent files just to get Google Drive access. Even after restore nothing works no call log oe messages show up.

Only backup half the conversation, which is the scent messages. So all my backups have what I sent in the conversation but nothing the other person sent, so you can only read one side of the conversation.
