This app requires location permission. I don't want to provide my location, so it refuses to work. My phone has a barometer sensor built in. Location should not be necessary. They just want my location so that they can sell data about me. To the developer's response: I cannot get to the settings, the app literally refuses to do anything until I grant location permission. I get a mostly blank screen with the message at the bottom, "Accurate Barometer cannot work without location permission"

We just experienced a hurricane Debby and the batameter indicated clouds and rain. I just emptied 4.5" of rain from my gauge. What a joke of an app.

Don't be fooled into thinking if you opt out of data collection it doesn't collect your data. Loads of"vendors" which you have to manually turn off individually collect what they call "legitimate" data. Nothing's free in life and this is no different to many other apps.
