Description
Barometer is a vintage aneroid barometer that measures atmospheric pressure.
It features direct reading in milliBar (mBar), mmHg or psi and includes a barometric altimeter for altitude measurements and calculations.
It includes automatic range detection, relative pressure mode, approximate altitude measurement and vertical speed & acceleration calculation to see the speed when you ride an elevator for example.
NOTE: This app benefits from device with a pressure sensor. If the pressure sensor is not present in your device this app will load current measured atmospheric pressure and the next 48 hours trend by your local meteorological station using your location and a weather web service.
Outdoor atmospheric pressure information is provided by the Meteorologisk institutt of Norway NRK weather web service accessible at Yr.no
Optional altitude information that can be enabled in Preferences is provided by Open-Elevation web service accessible at open-elevation.com

Needs to be able to reset altitude The altitude needs to be able to be reset to either a specific known altitude for hill or mountain climbers. It can only be used for a short period of say one day as pressures do vary even if you don't move. Other than that I would give it 5 stars

Add calibration option Nice app most realistic looking one I found on the app store. Now all you need to do is add a self calibration option. Most the other barometer apps do. U add that, and you'll most likely have the best barometer on the play store

Do it a little better, and it will be fine I use Google nexus 5 phone. The problem is, that adds appear just above the numbers of pressure and altitude. I guess the developer didn't count the fact, that there are phones with software keys like nexus 4 and nexus 5.

Samsung Note 3 Not accurate. My area should be around 13 meters, but it shows me 24 meters, and sometimes shows 34 meters, suspect due to different temperature. Removed from my phone now.
