The foods listed can be helpful to reduce Acid Reflux / GERD symptoms for people with Gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Why should you care about acid reflux disease? While acid reflux is a fairly common disease and some of the symptoms such as bad breath, dysphagia, and chest pain may seem mild, GERD can have some serious long term complications such as wearing away of the teeth, esophagitis, esophageal strictures, and Barrett's esophagus.
About GERD: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), also known as acid reflux, or chronic heartburn, is a long term condition where stomach contents come back up into the esophagus resulting in either symptoms or complications.
Risk factors include obesity, pregnancy, smoking, hiatus hernia, and taking certain medicines. Medications involved include antihistamines, calcium channel blockers, antidepressants, and sleeping medication. It is due to poor closure of the lower esophageal sphincter (the junction between the stomach and the esophagus). Diagnosis among those who do not improve with simpler measures may involve gastroscopy, upper GI series, esophageal pH monitoring, or esophageal manometry.
Treatment is typically via lifestyle changes, medications, and sometimes surgery. Lifestyle changes include not lying down for three hours after eating, losing weight, avoiding certain foods, and stopping smoking. Medications include antacid, H2 receptor blockers, proton pump inhibitors, and prokinetics.

Just got this app 2 days ago. It tells which food is less likely to cause acid reflux symptoms and which foods is more likely to cause acid reflux.

I subbed for a month to see what the app could do and, it seems to be on its way to being a helpful tool in managing your gerd, but it's not fully there yet. I should be able to make a schedule for my medication without having to create an entry every time I take a pill. Alerts reminding you that it is time to eat and what you're eating would also be nice since regularity is essential. Otherwise, I'm still waiting to log enough entries to see how helpful the analysis option can be.

Has no way of adding foods or symptoms that aren't on the list. When I click to see the details of a specific entry in the past the severity level shows 0. It would be helpful if the severity levels shows on the colander instead of having to click the day and then the individual entry.

This app is useless. Only gives a list of a list of items OK, avoid and remedy to eat (something easily googled). The other features, such as adding notes to a certain ingredient, adding ingredients, and others, are premium features. Simply USELESS.

I had this app for approximately five minutes. The concept and the design are great, but there's not a huge variety o of symptoms or even food to choose from, and there's no way of adding your own. My symptoms vary a lot more than those on the list. And why wouldn't chili or spicy foods be on the list of foods which can affect reflux? I will probably check back in the future to see if improvements are made, but otherwise, isn't the app for me.

I've had the application for a while and just purchased premium service. I'm a little bit disappointed by the fact that I cannot seem to download my acid reflux log into something like a detailed PDF file. Is there a way to do that? Furthermore, your email does not work when I click on the feedback link in the app.
