Guys i found the solution, this is not the right amazfit app.. If you want to pair please look for Zepp (formerly Amazfit) app.. This 1 works fine.. I also bought the watch and try to pair with this app but could not log in.. OMG what a worse app and misleading

I am using with the Amazfit Equator (the one that looks like a ceramic disk). This app syncs to Google Fit, even though it says on the Amazfit website that it doesn't. The app operates smoothly and updates my steps when I'm away from my phone.
