Description
Do you have an Android device that you would like to put to use? You can now set up and run your own mobile ADS-B ground station that can be used anywhere and receive real-time data directly from airplanes on your Android device.
It receives ADS-B data directly from airplane transponders via a small antenna connected to your Android device. This app then makes the real-time data available to view on your Android's screen, or optionally to any user on your local network if they point their web browser to your Android device's IP address.
Your mobile ADS-B station can run this Android app to track flights within 50-300 miles (line of sight, range depending on antenna).
This app was formerly known as the FlightAware FlightFeeder for Android, however has been renamed to simply ADS-B Flight Scanner and released as Open Source. Additionally, the functionality to upload data to FlightAware servers has unfortunately had to be removed.
Do not download or rate this app unless you have the necessary receiver hardware, since this app has no functionality without the ability to capture data.
ADS-B Flight Scanner requires you to purchase an ADS-B (DVB-T) Receiver USB Dongle with Antenna, and a USB On-The-Go (OTG) cable compatible with your Android device.

Из пожеланий - хотелось бы чуть больше параметров в таблице на устройстве - количество принятых сообщений, вертикальную скорость ( в идеале добавить и расшифровку acas DF00)

At the moment, this seems to be the only ADS-B feeder software for the Android. I already have a dedicated PC feeding FlightAware, I run VirtualRadar on that machine as a server I can access over the web. This app is far more basic than VirtualRadar. One issue I have noticed is the Antenna Location, which I have set manually as my Android device doesn't have a GPS. If I connect via a browser on my PC, initially it centers the map on my coordinates. However, if I click Reset Map, it defaults to some location in Italy. And stays there. It should be centering the map on my receivers location, pulling the coordinates from the Flight Feeder.

Keeps starting up for no reason Why is this app starting when no device is attached? My dongle is 700 miles away right now. Probably going to uninstall. Don't need this running my battery down when I'm clearly NOT using it.

No longer working. Used to work well, not anymore. On my tablet it just logs in as 'guest' with no other options, and on my phone, it logs in automatically as a username I dont recognise, again with no options to change. The receiver works fine, but it's pretty useless if it can't log into my account.

Pretty much unsupported at this point Probably the easiest and the most portable way to get a FlightAware Pro or other sdr dongle working and feeding information to sites such as FlightAware and FlightRadar24. As it stands, the app will feed FlightAware but you won't get any credit. The login function has been out of order for sometime and FA only recently posted a message about even though the store and their own website doesn't seem to me too this. It is possible to feed Virtual Radar Server with this however so 2 stars until they fix login.
