Affect is the best thing to happen to my aftercare in recovery. You get IOP in the comfort of your home. Not only is it IOP, but it's IOP with a reward system for staying on track and making your appointments and following up with your counselor. They are part of the M.A.P. program and have medical, behavioral health, and psychiatric doctors available via telehealth, through the app. The best part is most insurance companies, including some medicaid programs will cover treatment.

I absolutely love this app. It has helped me become a better person. I have learned so much about myself and my addiction. If not for this app I would still be stuck in my addiction. I have never once felt judged or looked down on for my addiction. They work with your schedule. They don't kick you out like most treatment centers if you relapse. They simply help you back up and continue on with your treatment plan. The counselors are amazing. Everyone has a story. Let affect be part of yours

Finished the program and did not receive a CERTIFICATE OF GRADUATION. All you get is a letter. Then you get different information from several employees. So you don't really know what's going on. You might as well go to a treatment center in your area if you want an ACTUAL CERTIFICATE. AFFECT THERAPEUTICS IS NOT AN ACCREDITED BUSINESS ON THE BBB Website.

Gave me the run around for around a month knowing I was going to run out of my psych meds and needed to establish care asap but then dropped me saying I needed in person med care when I've done fine doing telehealth psych for years. Editing to add that the woman who denied care said it was on my primary care doctors suggestion but when I spoke to my doc she'd never even been contacted by affect
