AfroStory - Read African

AfroStory's All-in-one Offline Reading App (V4.2) now offers a high quality, free and convenient, wide and rare collection of 120 (and counting) Mostly-African, Classic Digital Books, as selected by our Author Committee for QUALITY and mass appeal.

The App's software is designed to be very light on storage and data, and works on 99% of African phones, including Mobicel/Android 5. The App is around 40mb total, while Books are only 1mb to download straight to your phone. Featuring offline reading with Read Aloud that turns pages for you, plus a free African News Service add-on, Encyclopedia and Dictionary - a one-stop learning shop and brain-building/reading extravaganza. Like, Wakanda in your pocket, forever! Membership is free and for life.

We provide for All ages and abilities. Books range from Albert Luthuli’s Autobiography to Winnie The Pooh; from Don Quixote and free African children's picture books (supplied by partner Bookdash), to the best modern Black Writers of all time, including inspirational pioneers like Peter Abrahams, Ngugi wa Thiong’o, Cameron Duodu, Nadine Gordimer, Alan Paton, Marcus Garvey and WEB du Bois, to name a few geniuses.

Rather than suppressing the Black Lived Experience, we put it in everyone’s pocket! Perfect for students and people who take an interest in life. Oh, and No Subscriptions or Ads! Expect a lot more books very soon...

Our magic: specially made software turns your smartphone into the Ultimate Reading Device, for free! So no hidden costs, just a growing collection of both free and very fairly priced books. We sell new books, at a discount, have a working ads formula, and are a company of pros.

In short, AfroStory is here to change the future of reading in Africa, and is having fun while doing it. The prices of books are ridiculous compared to even Europe and the US. AfroStory are the good guys who don't just want to give everything away free, but also reduce prices a lot.

AfroStory has hundreds of books coming at major discounts. Additional Books are now added weekly as a rule. Do yourself a favor and give it a bash, right now! You only need to one-tap google login for full access, and we keep (a minimum of your) information from Google highly, highly secure in an encrypted and seemingly unbreakable database (only name and email).

World class software, world-class novels, non-fiction books, poetry, kids' and students' books, autobiographies of fallen African heroes, novels written by the first published African writers, Adventure, Romance, Comedy, Spiritual and Religious Books, we have everything! You may never need to buy another book!! The reading experience is awesome, no data for reading. WE SAVE YOU MONEY. Enough said. Amandla!

Sincere thanks for your support, and for helping spread the word. Please remember to review us through the App or directly on Play Store.

Kindness, Stacey Fru and Team AfroStory.com.
