I very much love this strategy game. I'm very picky when it comes to games that earn my attention. I dig the strategy of only being one fighter, as opposed to several, like many RPGs. I also think this is a great gateway game to those more advanced RPG games! Been playing for 7+ hours straight .at work 🤫

Game is amazing and a great competitor among card battlers except Slay the Spire. My current gripe is that there are way too many features that are locked behind pay walls such as the pvp decks. There is also the lack of transparency as they did not specify that buying one of the passes is not permanent and rather a recurring thing (learned that the hard way). Final issue is that when playing the horror pass and reaching the final boss fight you get stuck forever without winning.

I've been playing after magic since beginning of 2025, and it was amazing and challenging, making you think on how to build your deck but now with the recent updates I can't say the same anymore. Adding pvp and now with the most recent updates you have to pay with real money to unlock slots instead of paying with gold plus bugs, improving cards to only nerf them ex. "flesh wounds and swift change". The game has changed to be more p2w and that has considerably reduced my interest in the game.

The game become totally P2W. Support doesn't exist, doesn't answer on tickets. Last 2 day is totally unplayable, because when I want to start battle, there is no response. Ot has a good potential, but now it is waist of time.

Bad freemium clone of slay the spire. Identical cards, enemies, mechanics. Not an original thought in sight
