AhnLab V3 Endpoint Security

AhnLab V3 Endpoint Security (V3 ES) is a mobile security app for enterprise users provided by AhnLab, Inc.
IT managers in enterprise can protect employees’ mobile devices using secured browsing environment provided by V3 ES.
To use V3 ES, register the device in AhnLab Security Center, a website for managers, and install V3 ES on the device.

◆ Description
• Malware scan: Blocks mobile malware in real-time to protect the device.
• App authority checker: shows apps that have an authority to utilize the device's features or user privacy.
• Lost Device Control: Tracks the device's location, sends alert and message, and makes a call.
• Sending message: Sends a message to device.
• Calling: Makes a call.
• Vulnerability scan: Scans whether the device is rooted.
• Remote scan: Scans remotely in AhnLab Security Center
• Web filtering: Only connects to a safe website in which block policy set by AhnLab Security Center is applied.
• MDM connection: Supports device management by MDM connection.

◆ Other privileges
The terminal privileges required to use product features and the situations in which they are used are as follows:

- When using vulnerability checks, malware scans, and remote control features
• Requires permissions to access storage, location, phone, and microphone.
- When using the app control function
• Requires permission to display on top of other apps
- When using the Web filtering function
• Accessibility, requires access to VPN connection.

• V3 Endpoint Security provides the web filtering feature to prevent enterprise users from accessing phishing sites via platforms, such as Chrome and Samsung Browser, ensuring the users from falling victim to any harm.
• Data sent through the accessibiltiy service is not collected, processed, stored, or transmitted separately.

• V3 Endpoint Security provides the web filtering feature to prevent enterprise users from accessing phishing sites via platforms, such as Chrome and Samsung Browser, ensuring the users from falling victim to any harm.
• Data sent through the VpnService is not collected, processed, stored, or transmitted separately.
