For my purpose this is an excellent shadow app but the amount of adverts is very overwhelming. I would be more than happy to pay for an add free app!!!

Really bad app! It's nothing but a blurry square image that you adjust the opacity of. It only works with non-transparent images as the "shadow" shape does not adapt to the cut-out shape of the transparent image.
