Regarding the Air Manager app by Sim Innovations for Android and X-plane 11, connection via Wi-Fi. My Hardware: Tablet - Samsung Galaxy tab A, Android 10, Samsung One UI 2.1, in Landscape orientation. PC - Windows 10 running x-plane 11.51. Once the app is connected successfully it performs very nicely. Consider getting a low profile stand for the tablet - I used an Green tablet stand placed just in front of and below the main monitor. You can then get monitor full screen video with shift-w or ctrl-w. Some issues: 1 - Windows 10 refused to download the plugin needed to connect to the Android tablet by Wi-Fi. I downloaded it onto another disk, then transferred to the PC. Ran it - found x-plane immediately. Hopefully there are no security issues... 2 - The Windows firewall may need an exception for x-plane. 3 - X-plane port setting in Data output tab > General data output may need changing - see below. 4 - IP address of the PC and tablet may need to be static. The settings below were successful. If not successful consider static IP addresses for both the PC and tablet. IP and Port settings in X-plane 11 will need to be adjusted in addition to those in the android app. Below: PC Sim IP address 192.168.x.y. Tablet IP address 192.168.x.z. --- Network Settings On the android tablet: Unchecked automatic connection. Network address 192.168.x.y [PC IP address]. --- Settings on X-plane 11: --- Network tab: UDP ports [click + to expand]. Place a Check mark for "use upnp for ipv4 port forwarding". Otherwise, NO changes in this section. Port we receive on 49010. Port we receive on (legacy) 49000. Port we send from (legacy) 49001. These are the defaults in my X-plane sim. --- Data output tab > General data output: Output Rates [on upper right] > Another similar app recommended UDP rate of 15 or less - I used 10 packets/sec. Network configuration - Check mark placed in "send network data output". Enter the ip address of the android tablet 192.168.x.z. Port = 49001 [port the tablet receives data on]. [NOTE - this initial default port setting was different in my setup - then changed it to 49001, same as Port we send from (legacy) above]. Enjoy!

Does exactly what they say it does. No problems automatically connecting to X Plane 11 for me. The clarity of the gauges is very nice. I only wish it was compatible with phones and not just tablets because you run out of screen space pretty easily on a 9" tablet. It would be nice to add just one or two more instruments on your surplus android phones.

This app is a can be Game changers for Sim flyers to get some familiarity to fly Instruments, great concept I love it, but it doesn't work!, it crashes at the start and the plugin shows everything is working fine weird, pity you can get the desktop version, only with PayPal otherwise I would have tried that one they are all very cheap. Anyway I have sent a log file crash report and some comments about that, hopefully they get back to me, Till then one star at best.

I used to use Air Manager with XPlane 11 on an older Android 7 tablet, it was great. Now I have Android... 13 or something? And a very new Samsung phone, the Air Manager UI is impossible to use, and crashes often. I don't know what happened here... the Android version is not even documented on the website as far as I can tell. I think the only modern version is for desktop, maybe iPad?

Total Junk. Will not install & no refund available. It installed on my phone fine, but your plug-in for my PC will not. The plug-in looks in the wrong location for Plane 11 files.
