AirTag Finder helps you find out if an unknown Bluetooth tracker is following you. Run a quick scan and see every nearby AirTag, SmartTag, Tile, Chipolo, or generic Bluetooth tracker your phone can detect, not just one brand.
WHY AN ANTI-TRACKING SCANNER MATTERS
Bluetooth trackers are small enough to hide in a bag, a jacket pocket, a car, or a piece of luggage. Most people only find out they were tracked after the fact. This app runs a Bluetooth scan in the background and watches for the same unknown device showing up near you again and again, in different places, the pattern a real tracking device would leave.
HOW IT WORKS
- Run an instant scan to see every Bluetooth tracker currently broadcasting nearby
- The app remembers unfamiliar devices and flags one that keeps reappearing around you over time
- One tap starts a scan, no account and no complicated setup
- Works as a general Bluetooth tracker detector, not limited to Apple AirTag alone
WHAT IT DETECTS
- Apple AirTag
- Samsung Galaxy SmartTag and SmartTag2
- Tile trackers
- Chipolo trackers
- Other generic Bluetooth Low Energy tracking tags
WHO THIS IS FOR
Anyone who wants a fast way to check for a hidden tracker after a rideshare trip, a hotel or Airbnb stay, using a rental car, coming home from a night out, or after leaving a bag unattended somewhere. If you've ever searched "is there an AirTag on my car" or "find hidden tracker," this app gives you a direct way to check right now instead of wondering.
AN INDEPENDENT SCANNER, NOT A BRAND APP
This is an independent Bluetooth tracker detector. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Apple, Samsung, or Tile, and it does not connect to Apple's Find My network or any manufacturer's own tracking service. All detection happens through your phone's own Bluetooth radio scanning for nearby signals, nothing is sent to a manufacturer and nothing is pulled from their servers.
BE HONEST ABOUT WHAT A SCAN CAN AND CANNOT DO
A phone's Bluetooth scan can find trackers broadcasting nearby. It cannot detect GPS or cellular-based trackers that don't use Bluetooth, cannot remotely disable or silence someone else's device, and cannot show you a live map of exactly where a tracker's owner is. If a scan flags a device moving with you that you don't recognize, the practical next step is a physical check: your bag, coat pockets, car seats, wheel wells, and luggage are the most common places a tracker gets hidden.
IF A SCAN FINDS SOMETHING
Don't panic. Most flagged devices turn out to be a neighbor's headphones or a nearby AirTag that isn't actually following you, it just happened to be in range once or twice. The app is built to reduce false alarms by watching for a device that repeats across multiple locations, not a single one-off detection.
Whether you're traveling, renting a car, staying somewhere new, or just want a quick way to check your belongings, open the app and run your first scan in seconds.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Does it work on Android? Apple's own AirTag alerts are built for iPhone only, so an independent scanner fills that gap for Android users, checking for any Bluetooth tracker in range regardless of the owner's phone.
What if a scan finds a tracker but I can't tell whose it is? The app cannot show an owner's name, no app legitimately can. It confirms a device is present and flags whether it keeps following you, the signal that matters for deciding whether to search your belongings.
Can this replace checking my car or bag by hand? No. Treat a flag as the first step that tells you a physical search is worth doing, not a replacement for actually looking.
Is scan data sent anywhere? Bluetooth scanning happens locally on your device.
